The tech-fest was conducted in a hybrid format to ensure wider participation. The online rounds of the events were held on 25th and 26th October 2025, followed by the offline rounds on 29th October 2025. The event successfully brought together students from different institutions, encouraging them to participate, collaborate, and compete in a dynamic learning environment.
The event included several technical competitions such as Innovation Pitstop, Pitlane Sprint, Full Throttle Code, Racecraft Algo, and Flag Track, which focused on areas like coding, algorithm design, innovation, and problem-solving. Along with these, engaging non-technical events such as Blindfold Pit Crew, Meme GP, Auction Lap, and Battle Circuit were also conducted to promote teamwork, creativity, and fun among the participants. These activities created a balanced environment that combined both technical excellence and interactive learning.
The event was further enriched by the presence of distinguished guests from industry. The inaugural function was delivered by Mr. Bala Murugan, Learning Leader at Accenture, who shared valuable insights about industry expectations and encouraged students to continuously upgrade their technical knowledge. The valedictory function was delivered by Mr. Guru Lakshman, Actor and Former Consultant at Wipro, who motivated students to pursue their goals with confidence and dedication. Their speeches inspired participants and highlighted the importance of innovation, adaptability, and lifelong learning in the technology field.
Overall, XTROFEST 7.0 – INFOVISTA’25 was successfully organized and received enthusiastic participation from students. The event provided a valuable opportunity for students to demonstrate their skills, gain practical exposure, and interact with peers and industry experts. It also helped participants improve their technical knowledge, leadership qualities, and teamwork abilities, making the event a meaningful and enriching experience for everyone involved.

This year’s tech fest, organized by our stellar Department of Information Technology, showcased a dazzling mix of technical and non-technical events, uniting brilliant minds from across the region.

The IEEE HKN Nu Eta Chapter of Sri Sairam Engineering College organized Genesis 1.0, a two-day annual symposium on 29th & 30th July 2024.The event was funded by IEEE HTB and aimed to promote innovation, technical learning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Various technical sessions, competitions, and project showcases were conducted.

Students across departments participated enthusiastically and presented innovative solutions.
The symposium served as a platform for peer learning, creativity, and showcasing talent.
It encouraged students to explore new technologies and real-world applications.
Expert guidance and mentoring were provided throughout the sessions.
Genesis 1.0 strengthened the technical culture and IEEE presence on campus.
The event was a great success, inspiring students to continue their pursuit of tech excellence.

The Genesis 1.0 symposium began on 29th July 2024 with a grand inaugural ceremony at Sigma Hall. The theme, “Think. Innovate. Develop.,” focused on technical and entrepreneurial growth. Distinguished speakers like Dr. Sai Prakash Leo Muthu and Mr. Sampathkumar Veerararaghavan addressed students on innovation, leadership, global opportunities, and sustainable development goals. Students showcased their projects and took part in a business case study challenge called Think Tank. On 30th July, the second day started with an induction ceremony featuring notable speakers. A Tech Talk on “Connected Healthcare for Remote Moms” was conducted in Beta Hall. The Sustain Fest Exhibition promoting sustainability was held throughout the day near SSR and VRR Halls. Additional sessions included the HumaniTechTalk and the continuation of the Think Tank challenge. Resource persons like Dr. Adil Usman and others contributed to the discussions. The two-day event successfully inspired students and faculty to engage in innovation, technology, and social entrepreneurship.
