Department of Information Technology in association with IEEE Computer Society – Student Branch chapter, Sri Sai Ram Engineering College conducted “CODEFETE”, an online coding competition on June 3rd and 4th 2020.The event was sponsored by IEEE Student Professional Awareness Activities.(SPAA) There were around 750 students registered for the event across India.
With the joining of almost 500 participants, day one commenced with a Pep Talk by Mr.Karthikeyan,CEO,SkillRack.com who discussed on the hot topic, “ Transformation from novice to master in programming”. After his influential speech, the contest began with round 1(coding) in Hackerearth platform.
Second day the qualified students participated in the second round of coding contest After finishing the coding round, the participants attended a cooling down session given by Mr. Aravindhan Anbazhagan, Educator & Chair,IEEE Madras Section YP. on the Topic “Design Thinking- used as a problem solving approach” Followed by this Valedictory function was conducted and the results were declared. The winning participants were bestowed with cash prizes.
