Every year the latest developments in the field of information technology are witnessed by Sairam Team which bags the opportunities for participation and winning. The department’s Symposium committee named “SaiTechcellence” is working actively in organizing national level symposium every year. The department has been a key player and a pivotal point in holding the prestigious membership of the ISTE student chapter (highest number of student participants in Tamil Nadu). Every year the department organizes “Sai Tech Grail“, an innovative student project exhibition in Association with reputed MNC’s, which has live project demonstration by students from other college.
The department has also received Academic Excellence Award for the years 2003, 2005, 2008, 2016. The department had bagged the Best Industry linked institution award in the prestigious AICTE-CII Survey of Industry-linked technical institutions 2017. The award is based on a survey done across AICTE approved technical institutions of the country with the objective to showcase the best practices. The Department has been awarded “Innovative & Effective Teaching Learning Practices 2017” by Society for Educational and Entrepreneurship Development (SEED).
