AICTE has given the approval to conduct Self-funded Introductory FDP at our Sri Sai Ram Engineering College. The Self-Funded three days Introductory FDP on Universal Human Values was conducted during the Month of July 10-12, 2023. The Regional Coordinator as well as UHV cell Co-ordinator Dr.V.Sumathi, has taken the initiative at our own institution Sri Sai Ram Engineering College, West Tambaram, Chennai. Being coordinating with the Self-funded FDP for our Southern Region along with AICTE National team, I want to use this opportunity to facilitate newly joined faculties, We as a team on behalf of UHV cell and with the guidance of our HOD, H&S department Dr.S.Ramakrishnan, sent the proposal and got consent to conduct in-house FDP from our management with a fund of Rs.50,000/- in advance.

As a RC, and the co-ordinating team for self funded F2F FDP, with the guidance of central team, RP team has been constructed. AICTE NCCIP team approved the RP team. Dr. N.Sunil Kumar Professor from CUSAT was the Resource Person for this FDP. Dr. Gowri Shankar Rao, Professor from Vel Tech Dr.Sagunthala Rangarajan R&D institute of science and technology was the observer for this FDP. Mr. Jaya Prakash was appointed as
the Co-facilitator for this FDP.

There were 78 registrations in total. But only 50% turned up to the FDP. There were 11 registrations from in and around neighboring colleges. Out of 11 only 2 turned up from St.Joseph Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai. Nearly 50 participants explored the content and it was great experience to everyone. Our Principal , Dr. K.Porkumaran , Dr. S.Ramakrishnan, HOD H&S, Senior Professor Dr. Ashok Gandhi sir graced the
inaugural function on 10th July 2023.

The 3-days Introductory FDP on UHV was successfully facilitated by our beloved RP Dr. N.Sunil Kumar. The Observer gave proper announcements and posted all the Pre-survey link, Assignments links and Post-Survey link through RC of SR. The Observer has got the
attendance from the participants for all the sessions at regular intervals. The observer also maintained an in and out register for the maintenance of discipline inside the hall. Under the guidance of RP, Tutorial hours on 10th July 2023 and 11th July 2023 was handled by
mentors such as Dr.Gowri Shankar Rao(Observer), LPC&RC Dr. V.Sumathi, LPC(2)-Mr.U.Manikandan, Dr. Ashok Gandhi , Ms.Amirthavarshini (Online FDP Volunteer).

This 3-days FDP has successfully completed on 12th July 2023. The FDP was concluded by Valedictory function between 5:00pm-5:30pm. During Valedictory function, FDP report was given by Dr.V.Sumathi, Valedictory address was given by the Observer and Vote of
Thanks was given by LPC(2) Mr. U.Manikandan. Dr. S.Ramakrishnan, HOD ,H&S graced the function. We thank our CEO, Management, Principal, Deans, all the HODs , all the Faculty Volunteers Mr. Vairamanikandan , Ms. S. Janaki , Ms. Amirthavarshini, Ms. Savithri, ECE, Dr. Sharmila, EEE, and Student Volunteers Mr. Shyam , Mr. Bharani, Ms. Madhumitha for their valuable contribution for the successful completion of this FDP.
